Neuronal Data Analyzer Lab is designed and maintained by Alejandro Suarez, Ph.D. (ORCID, GitHub). It was developed with the assistance of Claude (Anthropic), an AI model, used through Claude Code; the author directs the work, reviews what is produced and is responsible for the content. The explanatory figures on this site and in the in-app Help were designed by the author and made with AI image tools (Google). Questions, bugs and feature requests: GitHub issues.

How to cite

If you use Neuronal Data Analyzer Lab, or results produced with it, in work that you publish or present (article, preprint, thesis, report, poster or talk), you must cite it; this is a condition of the licence. The citation is in CITATION.cff. GitHub also offers "Cite this repository":

© Alejandro Suarez, Ph.D. Neuronal Data Analyzer Lab is licensed under the PolyForm Noncommercial License 1.0.0 with a citation condition. In plain words:

It is research software, not a medical device: do not use it to diagnose, treat or make decisions about patients. It comes with no warranty: check your results (the demo data and the validation page help).

Third-party software that Neuronal Data Analyzer Lab can use (for example the TDT MATLAB SDK, see Utilities/) is not included and keeps its own licence. The licence text in LICENSE.txt is what counts; this summary only explains it.

Improvements are welcome as issues or pull requests to the repository (see CONTRIBUTING.md).
